DIY Indoor Tulips

Spring is in the air, and many people will soon be opening their windows and enjoying the fresh breeze blowing through their home. No more closed windows and furnaces cranked. It’s the perfect time of the year to root your tulips INDOORS! Rooting tulips indoors provides a lovely decoration for your home. Who doesn’t like to look at fresh flowers? Pin It So, how do you exactly do this? 1) Fill a glass vase approximately 1/3 of the way full with decorative rocks or marbles. You want to use a vase that is clear because it allows you to watch the roots develop on tulips. 2) Place your tulip bulb inside the vase, pointed end up, and added a few more decorative rocks or marbles to support the tulip. Do not over add so that you end up crushing the tulip. 3) For fresh water into the vase.
